Harvard System由美国高校开始使用,后逐渐流传到澳大利亚,新西兰和英国等国家的大学内。是一种参考资料的格式,多用与自然科学还有物理化工类领域的专业论文。Harvard System(哈佛注释体系),也被称为Author-date method(作者-日期法),每一处引用,不论是直接引用又或者是间接的,都需要标注在文中引用处以及论文的bibliography(参考书目)。
